Jinn

Jinn

Another restless night, a sequence of the unexpected, and once again, the unknown. Awoken from her sleep, a noise caught her attention, although not quite fully awake, she was able to hear and see enough. The sound of footsteps moving towards her at the speed like no other, none she’s ever heard before, then retreating, then back to her, then retreating once again. As she looked to her left, the direction the noise was coming from, the image she saw wasn’t a reflection of the resounding sound. A familiar dark figure stood in her room. What looked like an older woman crouching by the door, and before she could get a good look, an uneasy feeling came over her. The sound of drums and other instruments soon followed. The feeling of being transported to where, she was unsure of, shortly after sleep overcame her.
