Did I have Social Anxiety?

  • I would feel like crying whenever I was told that I needed to get out more.
  • I would feel unstable in big group settings, and if possible I would keep close to family, friends, or people I knew.
  • I would lose my appetite or wouldn’t be able to eat in or around big groups of people, and sometimes even in public settings.
  • I would be quiet and/or not myself around people I didn’t know.
  • I preferred working alone or with people I knew, rather than in groups of people that I didn’t know.
  • I didn’t really like making new friends.
  • I preferred hanging out with a small group of friends, rather than being surrounded by a lot of people.
  • My friends would go out more than I did and/or wanted to.
  • It would usually take a lot of mental preparation before going out and/or to be social.
  • I always thought that there was something wrong with me.
