1. Be there for others before being there for yourself first.
2. Don’t allow yourself to feel or grieve through hard or tough times.
3. Overwork yourself or take on too much.
4. Live through other people’s expectations, and/or set expectations for yourself that are too high or unrealistic.
5. Don’t allow yourself to receive even though you have no problem giving to others.
6. Try to be someone other than yourself, or who you are meant to be.
7. Have no time organised for yourself, to rest, reflect, reground and recenter yourself, to ensure you eat sufficiently, to exercise and meditate regularly, to do the things that you enjoy.
8. Give all of your energy to others because you don’t have boundaries.
9. Don’t ask for help, or don’t allow people to help you, especially when you need it.
10. Have no reason behind why you do what you do, or why you get up everyday.
